It’s organised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and runs right after O Level results are released in January 2026. You must use MOE’s JAE Internet System (JAE-IS) to submit your course choices online.

1. Eligibility & Scoring
To be considered for a polytechnic diploma via JAE:
✅ You must have a net ELR2B2 score ≤ 26 (English + 2 Relevant + Best 2 other subjects). There’s a slight exception for Diploma in Nursing (net ≤28).
✅ You must meet the Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) for the specific diploma course you choose.
Bonus points:
Strong CCA (Excellent A1–A2 = 2 points; Good B3–C6 = 1 point) can reduce your net aggregate.
📌 A lower net ELR2B2 means better chances for competitive courses — but meeting MER doesn’t guarantee a spot; admission also depends on demand and availability.

Prepare your SingPass:
You’ll need this to log in to the JAE-IS.
Receive Form A:
On O Level results day, you’ll get an email with a softcopy of Form A showing your eligibility and net aggregates.
Choose up to 12 polytechnic courses (across any of the 5 polytechnics).
Submit via JAE-IS within the application period.
Check results on 3 Feb 2026, and enrol if offered.
Appeal if needed:
If you meet a course’s NET score & MER but were not posted, you can appeal via the online system shortly after posting results.
